Meet Alexander

A fourth-generation Houstonian running to bring conservative leadership back to TX-07.

Who I Am

If you don't know me already, I wanted to share a few words on who I am and what we're trying to do here. First and foremost, I am a devout Christian. A fourth-generation Houstonian, I grew up here in the city.

After being homeschooled for most of my life, I attended Baylor University on a full-ride academic scholarship. While there, I quadruple-majored in Finance, Political Science, Philosophy, and Business Fellows, and minored in Great Texts of the Western Tradition.

During my collegiate summers, I cut my teeth on public-sector work in Washington D.C., working for both The American Enterprise Institute and U.S. Senator Ben Sasse. I additionally interned for Patriot Capital, was an Analyst for the Baylor Angel Network, and was the Founder and President of Baylor's Alexander Hamilton Society chapter. You can always check out LinkedIn if you'd like to investigate my career journey and credentials further.

After graduation from Baylor, I returned home to work in the Financial Services and Energy sector. I live in the Heights, and currently work as an Energy and Chemicals Consultant for Alvarez & Marsal here in Houston.

Some hobbies and ways I spend my time: staying active through sports, reading books of any genre, playing chess, spending time with friends, and serving at my church.

This is our opportunity to flip a seat viewed as a cornerstone of the Progressive agenda here in Texas. If not us, then who? If not now, then when?

I hope you stand in the trenches with me here. We're going to put in a lot of work. But fundamentally, all we need are a few stones, a slingshot, and a lot of faith.
